I'm running a free webhosting site, with around 140,000 ad views a day and growing. Where is the best place to get advertisers for this type of market and what have you been chargining cpm? I was thinking about .75-1.00cpm to start off but there are other people that provide the same service I do charging 3-5.00 cpm. I'm willing to offer 728x90 banners instead of the usual 468x60 ones too.
As one website whos service is similar to mine they have these rates but they only allow the smaller 468x60 banner. At their prices I'd be making about 250 a day or more if I had advertisers everyday.
5,000 Impressions ($5.00 CPM) = $25.00
10,000 Impressions ($4.50 CPM) = $45.00
25,000 Impressions ($3.50 CPM) = $87.50
50,000 Impressions ($3.00 CPM) = $150.00
100,000 Impressions ($2.50 CPM) = $250.00
