Is hosting offer for forum posting considered as free hosting? Can such an offer be posted under the Free Web Hosting Offers forums.

As long as you don't pay with money, I'd say it's considered free.

I read a few of the posts regarding hosting for posting, but what I haven't grasped is why would you want that? I mean, I would rather have visitors who _want_ to post for interest of like minds. I understand that offering advertisments on the forums is good for business but what kinda posts to you get there? Trash or some decent jawing?

You can take care of the spamming. Most people make decent posts.
