Free Web Hosting Control Panel

I am hiring a coder to create a control panel for people wanting to run a free web hosting company. Please tell me features you think should be included even if they are big features. What price would you expect to pay aswell?

Well I am having a control panel made that is a php version some what like xPanel and it is costing me well over 1000$. I Dont know if you mean to purchase from scratch or copies after its been made.

Features:

File manager (a must)
Auto installer (as above)
MySQL + Email admin area
Subdomains would be good
Some simple formmail script would be good along with some CGI scripts and stuff
FTP admin area

Thats all I can think of at the moment

You got probably all of them but you need a webmail section and some kind of auto-script installer. If you want a detailed list just look at cpanel's site.

Thats to basic surely there must be some really good features like website builder etc.. do not worry about the cost

bann features at signup like free emails, by ip or by hosts control thru admin area,
a mutiple field signup that can be added to in the admin panel, what i mean besides name, un pw . you could add home address, zip country etc threw your admin panel to fit your needs and be able to be required fields also. abilty to mail your users from the admin panel, either by one users, or groups/catogories.

able to add ad-banners on users sites if wanted thru admin panel again

a great file manager with chmod, zip/unzip, untar/tar file and folders features, limited file size and types. limited user area folder size, again admin thru the admin panel either globally or by user

ability to make different catogories for users, like personal/user or business/user as examples

i found all these in different scripts but not in one script
also be able to install without root access with a easy installer because not all have root access

have both a easy txt editor or intergate one of these free ones

looking good so far, please add those ban features also. another thing is have him/her add a flood control to the signup script. how many minutes a users can apply between signups. im glad your having this done for free hosters, if you need beta testers let me know. if your using cpanel , make sure you can turn on/off cgi at the admin panel also.
