It's amaizing (may be ridiculus) to see on some thread how some web host companies are competing with each other to offer free webhosting to someone.

I am gonna go a little bit farer.

I have a forum with a lot of traffic and I offer free advertising to the web host who will host my site for free and give me some money $$$$$$$$$.
I am talking about 1 banner at the top, one at the bottom on every page.
I get around 1000 visitors per month.

I just need 500 MB of storage, 1 MySQL and 10 GB of traffic.

First bid is $20 a month, I will go with the best offer. (LOL).

I bet that know that 1000 visitors is not a lot for a month. A mid-range traffic website should be able to pull in near to 20,000 visitors per month.

Ok guys, it's a joke.

I was visiting the forum and saw that a lot of free host were answering each free hosting request. In my opinion I think it is ridiculus to offer some services for free. Instead of offering everything for nothing, it should be better to make a webhost industry deal and refuse to sell any plan under $30.
Like this we would all make a lot of money in this business. Even with a small business. People will still need to host somewhere.

At least I am glad that nobody offered to host me and pay me at the same time. We are not there yet but we do not know, Soon one webhost could start doing this. There are so many crazy people in this world.
