About 7 years ago I created MedicalTranscription.com with the assistance of a hired programmer to create the .asp pages. As you review the site, (particularly browsing services and using "Transcription Match" under "Find an MT Service") you will see that I was and still am an amateur. My husband is "old school" database trained and his assistance was appreciated as well. Although the site needs updating, I am terrified to make changes for fear of destroying its functionality.
It's basically a database to which my advertisers add their information for a fee. Visitors can browse this info, and When a visitor requests information about a particular subset, a query is run, and the visitor's information goes to my advertisers, as well as a report of which advertisers matched the query, going back to the visitor.
My reason for posting here is, I just know that my site is not unique. Is there a "canned" solution that I can use that can accomplish roughly the same thing, but with better visual appeal? Your comments are appreciated.
