Default how many accounts on a server with these specs
How many total acccounts would I be able to put on a server with the following specs

2.8 Dual Xeon
256 MB Guaranteed Ram
200 GB Bandwith
10 GB Storage

Most sites I plan on putting will probably not use more than 2 GB transfer a month with the exception of maybe 5, which will not use more than 5 GB transfer. I plan on giving 50 MB space to each account and no cgi/perl, php/mysql...how many accounts would I be able to fit on a server that size and still have sites running smooth?

At those specs I'd say ~500 accounts.

No, I do not think you can handle 500 accounts with that much RAM. I have 512MB RAM and I have 600 accounts and my server almost goes down every other day (sucks I know)

200 Accounts

Better to play it safe IMO.

I think that speaks for itself.

If you're shelling out the bucks to rent a Dual Xeon 2.8, at least get a provider who will give you a decent amount of RAM (1 GB), storage (100 GB+), and bandwidth (600 GB+)! This sounds like a shared server deal that you got, not a real dedicated one.
